Tuesday is perhaps the most underappreciated day of the week. It’s not the beginning, so it doesn’t get the attention of a Monday. It’s not the middle, like Wednesday. It’s not one of the days approaching the weekend, so we don’t really feel like we have anything to look forward to on a Tuesday. It’s just sort of here, taking up space. Like the second child in a family of seven. But it’s named after the god Tyr, a Germanic/Norse god of war. That’s pretty cool. And it’s a good day to get stuff done. Places tend to be a little less busy. If you need to go to the post office or the bank or have a hankering for a night out, Tuesday’s your day.
It’s not a bad day for puzzle-solving, either, not that any day is. Let’s solve today’s Mini Crossword!

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is that. This one was pretty easy, though I admit the one clue that really through me off was 8-Across, which just gave us the letter W for free. How peculiar! This one only took me 42 seconds. Not too shabby, if I do say so myself!
