Sunseeker 134 Superyacht Brings British Builder Further Into Large Yacht Market

With an anticipated top speed just over 20 knots, the Sunseeker 134 Superyacht remains faithful to Sunseeker’s long focus on sporty performers. Simultaneously, this new project allows customers to continue to grow through the size range.

Initially planned as the Sunseeker 135 Yacht, a project announced in January, the semi-custom model measures about 133 feet (40.45 meters), with a 26-foot (nearly 8-meter) beam. Familiar Sunseeker styling elements, like a sharp bow and carved lines, stand out. So, too, do some new design looks, like longer superstructure lines and a long hardtop.

Alfresco living is a priority, of course, from the swim platform to the sundeck. The swim platform is a transforming space, like prior models, incorporating a lounge area instead of simply being a place to board watertoys or leap into the water. (Speaking of watertoys, though, the Sunseeker 134 Superyacht can stow a Williams 565 RIB and two waterbikes in the garage, which has a launching system as well.) Up top, meanwhile, you can opt for a second helm—something captains will tell you they enjoy—or a hot tub, or both.

The interior is where customers get wide latitude in personalization. The Sunseeker 134 Superyacht naturally places the master suite forward on the main deck, with either a single en suite bath or a his-and-her arrangement. Four guest staterooms, in combinations of equal-size VIPs and twins, take care of friends and family below decks. Woods, stones, and other décor materials are entirely up to buyers to choose.

A crew head count of eight, with five cabins, takes care of operations. Notably, four of the five cabins have en suite heads as well.

In related news, Sunseeker has partnered with Italian designer Francesco Paszkowski for a few projects, a first-time relationship. Their first project together is the Sunseeker 40M yacht. Few details are available currently, although the design does have a foredeck plunge pool. It can convert to a seating area when the water drains. “It is an honor to collaborate with Sunseeker, an iconic British brand with such a strong identity and history,” Paszkowski says.
