Customers of ISA Yachts, Extra Yachts, Columbus Yachts, and Mondomarine have a new benefit. They can take advantage of custom Novamarine tenders, thanks to a new partnership.
The partnership is through Palumbo Superyachts, the parent company for each of the yacht-building brands. The management team signed an agreement with Novamarine, a fellow Italian company. Novamarine produces rigid-hulled inflatable boats, and not only for yacht and megayacht clients around the world. In fact, it also has military ties. The same engineering that allows the military boats to achieve swift speeds and stay stable applies to the consumers’ offerings.
Francesco Pirro, Novamarine’s chairman and CEO, says that his company and the management teams of ISA Yachts, Extra Yachts, Columbus Yachts, and Mondomarine share the same ideals. “Our common goal is the highest level of product customization, because each yacht owner has different needs,” he explains. “For us, personalization is a fundamental part of the boatbuilding process.”
The custom Novamarine tenders will draw upon the company’s existing range. For instance, the Black Shiver line is already highly customizable, in sizes starting at 33 feet (10 meters). It further offers a choice of inboards or outboards. Various Black Shiver models are popular with megayachts, too. Yet another series is the RH series, which is the most compact, at 26 feet (8 meters). A third line, the HD, is the sportiest, with just one model, 40 feet (12 meters) LOA. Regardless, each Novamarine boat cruises at 30 to 35 knots, with some topping out close to 60 knots.
Since each of the Palumbo Superyachts brands affords clients broad flexibility in design to reflect their personalities, the partnership only made sense, according to Giuseppe Palumbo, the director. He calls it “a natural step in the evolution of the services we offer to our yacht owners.” Echoing Pirro’s comments about sharing ideas, he says, “We share the same vision: combining performance, design, and craftsmanship to create exclusive, truly bespoke products.” Providing “a complete and seamlessly integrated onboard experience” is ultimately the priority.
