Admiral Panorama 50 Yacht Fulfills Promise of Seascape Views

An unusual number of staterooms and extensive use of glass walls characterize the first launch in the Admiral Panorama 50 yacht series. She slowly moved out of her construction shed and made her way to the water this week at the builder’s facilities in Marina di Carrara, Italy.

The Panorama 50 series is semi-custom, a first for The Italian Sea Group, the parent company. Design comes from in-house and independent design studios. Specifically, the central design department of The Italian Sea Group handled naval architecture. Additionally, the department created an interior-design package for the 164-footer (50-meter) that clients can tailor, as did Piredda & Partners. Of course, due to the semi-custom nature, the shipyard welcomes owners to bring their own ideas.

The owner of hull number one followed this path in working with Piredda & Partners. Conveniently, the studio penned the exterior lines for the series as well. Although generally speaking, leading designers often strive for continuity inside and out even when they’re not responsible for the profile, having the same studio handle both ensures an uninterrupted look and feel. For this first Admiral Panorama 50 yacht, the owner and Piredda & Partners picked up some of the smooth, energetic shapes from outside. The colors and textures throughout the interior additionally lend an energy complementing the dynamic profile. Overall, bold textures, contrasting materials, and eye-catching accents lend each space personality.

Speaking of space, the owner of this Admiral Panorama 50 yacht intends to cruise with a big crowd. Therefore, seven staterooms, a higher number than usual for her length, are aboard. Furthermore, the guest staterooms are entirely on the main deck. This, too, is practically unheard of for a 164-footer. Far larger megayachts tend to allocate deck areas this way, in fact. Notably, The Italian Sea Group’s suggested general arrangement for the series places four guest staterooms forward on the main deck, so the owner added one more. The owner also kept the suggested placement for the master suite, forward on the upper deck. This not only allows waking up to wonderful views at anchor, but also access to an alfresco lounge area.

Whether the owner wishes to have some private time or welcome the full family and friends, a few areas can adapt. The just-mentioned lounge area outside the master suite is one of them. Since access comes directly from the stateroom, it’s a nice place to enjoy morning coffee or tea. When the superyacht sets off for a new destination at about 13 knots (15 knots is the top speed), guests can join him on the sizable settees. Side decks connect the area to an alfresco dining spot aft and an even larger seating area. Finally, the beach area, with fold-down sides, can be as social or as quiet as everyone wishes. A glass-walled pool and adjacent sunpads may make the beach area pretty lively during the day. But, come nighttime, an aft-facing settee could be the way to wind down and relax.

Delivery should take place early next year, making the Admiral Panorama 50 yacht one of the Italian Sea Group’s first handovers of 2026.
