In the ancient Greek language, “anemos” means “wind.” Typically, it refers to strong and even stormy winds, like gales. Metaphorically, winds stand for change. By partnering with Satura Studio, Hargrave Custom Yachts is changing up the looks of more of its megayachts. The yacht Project Anemos is the newest, providing clients with broad customizable choices.
Based in Italy, Satura Studio actually has designed the profiles of other yachts with Hargrave. Just a few months ago, in fact, the two companies revealed the Tahiti trideck series. It includes a handful of models with LOAs starting at 148 feet (45 meters). The styling is contemporary without risking becoming pigeonholed in a particular era. Similarly contemporary flair characterizes the yacht Project Anemos. Chiseled and curved lines come together throughout the decks. Note especially the cutouts aft to each side on the main deck and the deep rake of the pilothouse windows.
Rather than being one particular size, the yacht Project Anemos is actually a new option for the existing Hargrave E Series. The E Series includes raised-pilothouse designs, including the 118-foot (36-meter) Romeo Foxtrot from 2024. So far, Hargrave and Satura Studio see this style suiting choices in the 120- to 125-foot (36.6- to 38-meter) range, with volume from 250 to 270 gross tons.

With the engineering already completed, clients can feel confident of a few performance benefits. For instance, depending on the specific horsepower selected, the twin Caterpillar C32 engines should allow a top speed of 25 to 26 knots. Cruising speed, meanwhile, should be 22 to 25 knots. Regardless of the horsepower, best range should come at 10 to 11 knots, about 2,000 nautical miles. Additionally, Hargrave pledges good sound and vibration attenuation, to keep sound levels to a maximum of 58 decibels throughout the accommodations area. That’s about the same as normal conversation.
As for the accommodations, up to five staterooms for 10 people can be aboard, traditional for these LOAs. Friends and family who cruise aboard the yacht Project Anemos should appreciate their cabins, since the rooms can include California king beds (below). They’ll further like relaxing in the beach club (conveniently with a day head), soaking in the optional sundeck hot tub, and enjoying lunch on the sundeck. Thrills throughout the day come courtesy of the watertoys, which stow in a side garage and/or a bow garage (if there’s no sundeck hot tub, that is). Sunset cocktails might be best enjoyed from the bow entertainment area.
With a crew of seven handling operations, the RINA-classed superyacht can be delivered in May 2027, even with all the customization available. The asking price is $18.5 million.
