With a volume of 2,250 gross tons, the yacht Rafale will have many of the interior amenities that make cruising more enjoyable. But, her outdoor areas might just outshine them.
Currently under construction at Turquoise Yachts, this 267-footer (81-meter) will stand five decks high. Her flowing styling is from H2 Yacht Design, a studio with another contract underway with the shipyard, specifically the yacht Project Arrow. Fans of the studio will recognize signature elements like the long, rolling sheerline. The superyacht’s blue hull draws extra attention to it, too. Each of the superstructure’s decks reveal curves fore and aft as well.

Those curves wrap around expansive alfresco relaxation and entertainment zones. For instance, the yacht Rafale has a sizable beach club, nestled between two cascading stairways and beneath the main deck’s overhang. Naturally, it opens up on three sides, to become a more inviting space to spend the majority of the day. The crew can set up sunshades and loose furnishings on the fixed swim platform to extend the lounge area outside.
With five decks, the yacht Rafale of course offers the owner and guests multiple areas for outdoor dining, sunning, and taking in the sights whether at anchor or underway. However, it’s likely they’ll gravitate toward one—or more—of the three pools aboard. In fact, Rafale has a pool aft on the main deck, another one on the sundeck, and a third pool outside the owner’s suite.

As for the owner’s suite, it additionally has a private terrace, providing more space to unwind at the day’s start or end. If business obligations call while cruising, an office inside the suite comes into play. Otherwise, the suite, featuring his and her dressing areas and baths, is restful, with a contemporary air. H2 Yacht Design is collaborating with the owner for the ambience here and throughout the yacht.
Speaking of which, the rest of the yacht Rafale will have an equally calming atmosphere. Friends and family should especially appreciate waking up steps from indoor and alfresco dining on the main deck—along with having beautiful views through the full-height glass. If the weather convinces them to stay inside, a TV snug on the bridge deck will be a good place to curl up. Finally, the spa/treatment room and gym below decks will see plenty of use.

The owner hasn’t just focused on guests. Simultaneously, he requested some good amenities for Rafale’s crew. Eighteen hands plus the captain have a chill-out zone for unwinding. This is in addition to a combination of double and single cabins. Further noteworthy, an additional single crew cabin is available if needed, plus converts to a hospital room.
Although Turquoise Yachts hasn’t disclosed the best anticipated range, the yacht Rafale should top out at 17 knots. She’ll rely on hybrid propulsion that includes a pair of MTU engines.
