What better way to round out the year than by looking back at some horological highlights of 2025? RJ, Daan, and your host, Nacho, join forces to discuss some of the most remarkable moments of this past year. Consider this final episode of the year our gift to you this holiday season. Wrist check
We start, as usual, with RJ, who is having himself a golden Christmas with his two-tone Rolex GMT-Master II “Root Beer” (ref. 16713). This is one of his latest purchases and a watch that has been on his wrist more than almost any other in his collection this year, only topped by his golden Omega Speedmaster Apollo 11.
Daan is up next, and he’s taken the Echo/Neutra Rivanera Piccolo out for a spin. We have all been seriously impressed by these titanium dress watches from the Italian microbrand this year. And though this was not Daan’s Christmas gift to himself, we know that he would have loved to see it under the tree. Maybe next year!
And finally, Nacho is wearing his beloved Nomos Club Sport Neomatik Worldtimer Jungle LE. As most of you will know by now, this is a watch he received as a gift from his wife to commemorate their wedding earlier this year. Since then, it has been on his wrist almost every day and subjected to much strap experimentation. This latest pairing features a heavy canvas strap crafted by Sword Watch Strap in Turkey.
